Meet Peter C., RBT!
Peter is newer to the Partnership for Behavior Change family, having joined us towards the end of 2022, and he recently passed the BACB Registered Behavior Technician Exam! Peter has done some coursework at different Indiana University campuses. Though he doesn’t particularly enjoy cooking, his favorite food is a healthy avocado toast. After work, and sometimes during work, you can find Peter playing and composing music on classical/electric/acoustic guitar, playing video games, and listening to ambient, electric, or post-rock music. At times, we get the pleasure of listening to and watching Peter interact with our learners through his music on the guitar, and it is a sight to see! In his opinion, the most important part of Applied Behavior Analysis is, “our goal to improve the lives of those impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder by providing meaningful services and establishing functional goals.” Peter’s favorite part of the job is “making a difference in the lives of our clients.” As active as he is, it is no surprise that he doesn’t particularly enjoy the occasional down time at work. His favorite color is blue, and his favorite beverage is a nice relaxing tea. Something he wishes that he had learned earlier is “don’t give up on what you are passionate about.” Growing up, he wanted to be an author/writer. Peter’s coworkers tend to think of him as gentle, calm, and a fantastic listener. Peter looks forward to interacting with your learner through music in addition to providing ABA services.
